I recently got a new computer last month after my old one died on me. Its a nice swanky Alienware Aurora. Its not top of the range, but its 10x more powerful than my old one which was drastically overdue an upgrade. ^^; I found that openCanvas3 didnt work with windows 7 so I pruchased SAI Paint Tool (which I had been meaning to get for a while anyway) and like it very much. The lineart layer in particular is very handy with its vector control points. I'm just happy to have a computer that will let me draw art again without running dead slow or crashing. Well after some pestering from HarunaAkatsuki (https://www.deviantart.com/harunaakatsuki) (yeah I'm blaming you!) I ended up getting a Pixiv account, that japanese DA'ish site. At first it was just so I could see the pictures I was getting linked to from it (since you need an account there to even view someones gallery). But after having a look around the site I'm really glad I signed up! Theres quite alot of good art on it in comparison to DA, which lets be honest is too full of little kids spamming the place with horrible 2 second crayon doodles, a crap load of art thieves/tracers, and more drama queens than you can shake a stick at. I decided to make a gallery over at MangaBullet http://www.mangabullet.com/ after hearing about it from keevs (https://www.deviantart.com/keevs). But dont worry, I still plan to post stuff here too. ^^ MangaBullet is basically a DA clone thats dedicated to anime style artists and japanese culture loving freaks. It hasnt been going long and I'm sure they got alot of stuff to add and a few bugs to iron out, but so far it looks pretty nice.
